Donor Tile Walls
The Flying Pig Pottery produces one of a kind tiles to enhance any space in which they are installed. Raise funds for your library or school while creating a beautiful, lasting work of art. Patrons are willing to donate generously to a fundraiser when they have the opportunity to permanently commemorate loved ones and friends. Work with the artist, Tessa Morgan, to come up with a theme appropriate to your group, building or area.
While sea creatures are wonderful for Cape Cod, the artist can also create forest and farm scenes, fantasy and whimsy. With a dual background in illustration and ceramics, Morgan brings a versatility of design to her work, making each project unique.
For the Falmouth Library project (pictured above), donors paid $200 for a tile. 300 tiles sold for a total of $60,000. The artist was paid $25 a tile and the installer donated his time, leaving the library with over $50,000 raised and a beautiful piece of public art on their wall. The positive feedback from the community has been overwhelming, with many patrons who had not previously ordered tiles requesting that another wall be created.
